I'm back!!!

As if anyone cared!

So whats happened while I've been away?

Change in government! The Coalition nobody wanted! Its apparent that the uniting of Lib Dem's and the Tories is a marriage of convenience. No new news there.

As a result, manifestos go out the window, promises are broken and "compromises" are made.

The national deficit was there all along and now its up to someone to clean it up. Boo to the cuts, don't cut here, don't cut there, its going to take away from those who needs it. Who doesn't need it? Sacrifices need to be made. The masses have spoken and its still not what people want. Is this democracy? Or is it just that the staunch conservatives have voted regardless, and the floaters have voted Lib Dem after 13 years of Labour rule that has driven us into recession, and the result is a technicality.

Oh but the new opposition bench thinks they could make cuts in different places and do a better job than the new government. YOU CREATED THE MESS, WHY DIDN'T YOU FIX IT??

Ok, that is harsh. They didn't create the current economic problem on their own. The worlds financial markets have done this, irresponsible lending left, right and centre. Greed has ruled the world for centuries and we are paying the price. The banks have made a gigantic mess and have been bailed out, and then proceeded to carry on as normal as if nothing has happened.

If you watch any political, security or legal drama and believe this is all fiction, think again. If you genuinely think these things don't happen all the time, and that what the news reports is the be all and end all, you are more naive than my stereotyping mind thought.

We know NOTHING! We may know the tip of the ice burg but the truth is buried and every politician knows it.

This is here say, but if anyone disagrees, give me a reason to believe any differently. Give me something to hang a thread of hope that this government is any different to any other in the past 50 years that wasn't solely about self interest, retaining power and protecting those who hold serious sway in the lobbies of national interest.

Someone please define "free speech" to me. Is it the making comment on global social networking sites or is it protest in the street, that involves violence, preaching of hate, and destruction of property and symbols of unity.

Someone please help me distinguish between those harbouring messages of hate, burning poppies, a symbol of peace and remembrance, and those making comments upon Twitter, of a flippant variety that screams sarcasm and irony.

Who hasn't written a message of frustration and rage on their Facebook page? Who hasn't despaired at the state of British transport at the slightest turn of the weather?

Who hasn't protested against the British Army, who for hundreds of years have fought gallantly, bravely, protecting our island against the enemy, and even fighting in far flung places that have no great effect on our day to day lives? Oh no, sorry, most right minded, sensible, patriotic (apologies for my language), reasonable person wouldn't.

Of course, we seem to turn a blind eye to those who do not share the pride in being British (sorry, more appalling language), who want to live in a multi-cultural, equal, tax paying and generally peaceful country. We accept this as "free-speech". We are afraid of appearing racist or prejudice if we attempt to remove a dangerous, hate-mongering parasite from our shores, but will willingly bend over and take a new ship load of immigrants from France, regardless of who they may be. Maybe the majority are genuine. Seeking asylum from a country ravaged by war and genocide. However, how are we sure?

Where have these fundamentalist pieces of filth come from, or who has created them?

Lets prosecute those who even the police recognised as nothing more than someone who made an ill judged comment that some moron took as a genuine threat to Robin Hood Airport, and ignore those threatening the very core of the country. Of course, we must recognise and accept those with different religion, beliefs and views, but we mustn't indulge them.

Tell me how someone making a comment on-line is more of a threat than those who spew hatred and anti-British sentiments on Remembrance Day. Do we celebrate those who have died in the course of war with us? Do we marvel in the death of suicide bombers? No! They are all a tragedy, death in the name of some God, a deity who they believe blesses the atrocities committed in their name. Any God who believes they are just and righteous is evil and beneath contempt.

If the day comes when we must fight for this country, is there a country worth fighting for? Do we have an identity anymore? Do all who live here want a better place to live? Do all work, pay taxes and contribute if they can, to society?

Unfortunately, i don't believe so!!
